The Resolution Impala Saracens technical bench has released an exciting list of players to take on the Prinsloo7s this Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th September 2017.
The team which recently won the 2017 Kabeberi 7s & in so doing successfully defended it will be looking at proving to everyone that the Kabeberi 7s performance was not in any way laced with fluke. With the stakes rising with every leg played, the Resolution Insurance sponsored team has no option but play to the best of abilities.
Skilled additions have been made to the team: Resolution Impala Saracens players – Derrick Mayar & Sammy Oliech who have been in training with the national 7s team are now free to play for the club. Their names have been included in the list of 15 who will travel to Nakuru tomorrow evening. Samson Onsomu, who had a scintillating 2017 season at scrum-half with the Kenya Simbas has also made a return to the team. Youngster – Hannington Mbaka, who made his club debut at Kabeberi 2 weeks ago, has been awarded another platform to continue his spirited work.
7s campaign captain Leon Adongo is out of action through a bruised rib. Vice Captain – George Okowa is still experiencing difficulties with a groin injury picked during the Driftwood 7s and is unfortunately out of selection range. Samuel Motari, the 2nd team Vice Captain, will therefore skipper the team this weekend. Ian Mabwa continues to be rested until cleared by team doctors Christopher Makachia & Claire Mugiluri.
Resolution Impala Saracens is drawn in an interesting Pool A together with hosts Top Fry Nakuru, Nondescripts RUFC & BlakBlad RC.
